Did you know everyone here at King of Pops is a surfer? 🏄🏽‍♀️

Okay no one here is - scratch that. Our co-founder Steven did learn recently though, so I guess there is one surfer in the pop family. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Whatever, it’s all a state of mind honestly.

About Our Surf Break-2

Surf break is a time when the entire company takes a break in order for us to relax and recharge our batteries. Our co-founders actually started the Surf Break tradition back in the early KoP days. They quickly realized our pop world operates a little backwards to a “traditional workplace,” which is one of the things that makes this wacky pop world great. Thus, the concept of our annual surf break became a reality. Plus, let’s face it: “surf break” sounds better than “gone for two weeks.”

Everyone here really gets sweaty (a.k.a puts in the work) during the Spring and Summer time when most people get to slow down and go on vacations. Not us!

Don’t get us wrong; we love what we do and wouldn’t trade it for anything. We just need some “me time”, you know?

What is it that we do on surf break? Well, we usually kick it off with a 4 day cruise, and then some of us:

  • Travel to cool (sometimes literally cold) places.

  • Travel to hot places.

  • Go on a family visiting tour in case we didn’t see them over the holidays.

  • Take time to perfect some hobbies like painting or back flips.

  • Sleep in!

Whatever we feel like doing to re-energize ourselves honestly.

So what does this mean for you? Well, if you need us, we’ll be out of the office for two weeks this year: January 16th through February 2nd. That means we won't be checking emails or taking calls, but you can still book that event in your planner for the week of February 3rd and later in the future.

We promise to touch base with you as soon as we come back home. See you in February,  friends.

Surfs up! 🤙
